Wish List

Another item crossed off my wish list is a new Maytag gas range. The delivery men also hauled away the old one that came with the house. It was an electric range with one working burner. Of the remaining three, one didn’t work, one would start smoking when you turned it on, and the other would not even get hot enough to simmer water. So this new one is a welcome replacement. And it is a gas range…how I missed real flames. 
Tomorrow, I think I’m breaking in the oven. I downloaded a recipe for carrot cake. If I don’t get distracted and am actually able to make it to the supermarket, I’ll have a photo of it posted tomorrow.
